Awaiting-Suspended Between Time and Desire
Awaithing, oil on canvas
“Awaiting” speaks of a moment of stillness.
Not passive waiting, but a space charged with emotion — longing, uncertainty, hope.
A suspended time, where everything is still possible.
In this painting, I sought to capture that fragile and powerful instant just before change begins.
Through intense brushstrokes and a minimal palette, the figure emerges as a silent presence, filled with meaning and tension.
The body doesn’t move, but something within resonates.
It’s the breath of waiting.
